The platform

Everything is already built

This is not a roadmap. Every capability below ships in every paid plan, tested end to end, in Arabic and English — and every one of them is a switch, so your academy only shows what you actually use.

Courses and curriculum

A course is sections, and a section is lessons. Reorder either by dragging, and pick from five lesson types depending on what you are teaching.

Video lessons

Upload a file, pick one from your media library, or paste a YouTube or Vimeo link. Direct files get the platform’s own player.

  • Quality picker on HLS
  • ±10s and speed control
  • Keyboard shortcuts

Closed captions

One caption upload slot per active site language on every lesson, with a CC menu built from those languages.

  • .vtt and .srt
  • Per language
  • Auto-built menu

Text and PDF

Rich text with images for transcripts and reading, and PDFs that render inline so students never leave the player.

  • Inline PDF
  • Rich text editor
  • Image embeds

Drip and unlocking

Schedule when a section opens, or require the previous lesson to be finished first with learning paths.

  • Scheduled release
  • Sequential unlock
  • Free previews

Course visibility is per course: public for the catalogue, unlisted to sell by direct link without appearing in search, or private for invited students only.

Live classes on your own domain

Live classes run on TKDS MEETING, self-hosted under your academy’s domain. There is no Zoom licence, no per-seat fee, and no third-party meeting provider sitting between you and your students.

Because every join is authorised, the platform can do something most integrations cannot: write the attendance record itself.

  • Automatic attendance the moment a student joins, plus a manual register for in-room attendees.

  • Recording attachment after the class, visible to exactly the same audience.

  • CSV export of attendance from the class page.

  • Audience control — a whole course, or specific invited students.

Exams, assignments and grades

A question bank with three question types, and the type decides who grades it: multiple choice scores instantly, short answer and essay route to the instructor’s queue.

Quizzes carry an availability window with a start and end date and time, so an exam opens Thursday at 19:00 and closes at 20:30. Outside it, students see a locked state rather than a broken page.

Assignments give a brief and a submission box. Everything to be marked — written quiz answers and assignments alike — lands in one grading queue, and every mark flows to a unified grades page for the student and a per-course table for the instructor.

Certificates that verify

Reach 100% and a certificate is issued automatically — no request, no admin step. Each one carries a public verification code, so an employer can confirm it on a public page without an account.

That verification is the whole point. A PDF anyone can fake is decoration; a code anyone can check is a credential.

Taking money, seven ways

Students pay how they actually pay, not how a Silicon Valley checkout assumes they do.

Stripe

PayPal

Buyers who prefer not to enter a card

Fawaterk

Student wallet

Top up a balance, and cover part of a purchase with a card paying the rest

On top of that: coupons, bundles, gifting by email, membership plans, per-seat B2B organisations, and instalments where each collection is booked independently. Instructor earnings and withdrawal requests are tracked automatically, with a finance queue on the admin side.

Community, chat and support

Per-course Q&A from inside the player, a course community feed with posts, comments, likes and pinning, and direct 1:1 chat with file attachments — delivered in real time over websockets when enabled.

Messaging is gated by an explicit relationship rule, so students cannot message strangers. A support ticket desk handles everything else as a two-way thread with status and internal notes.

Content protection

Four independent switches protect your video: a moving watermark carrying the viewer’s email, capture deterrence that blurs on focus loss and blocks right-click and Picture-in-Picture, hidden media URLs via blob playback, and chromeless YouTube with no logo, title or related videos.

Separately, device limits cap concurrent logins per account — with individual ceilings for mobile and desktop — which is what actually stops one purchase becoming twelve viewers.

The full breakdown lives on its own page

Including the honest limits of every layer, and what no browser-based protection can do.

Analytics that answer business questions

Monthly and annual recurring revenue, churn, lifetime value, and a six-month revenue series. Then the breakdowns that matter: revenue, enrolments, completion and rating per course and per instructor, each linking through to its own analysis page.

Every table exports to CSV. Nothing is held back for an upgrade.

TKDS AI

Generate quiz questions from a lesson’s own content, summarise long material, and draft articles. It is provider-agnostic — you supply the key — and when no key is set, the buttons do not exist at all.

It suggests; the instructor approves. Nothing is published to students by a model on its own.

Control that stays out of the way

Every colour is a design token, so changing your palette recolours every tint, badge and chart consistently — a theme change can never produce a broken screen.

Sub-admin roles are permissioned per module and enforced on the server. Languages are administrator-managed, so adding a third language and translating it needs no developer. And every feature is a switch where off means invisible — no greyed-out buttons advertising an upsell.
